FM Timber Group will invest in improved value yields and sawn timber grades at their Pihtipudas sawmill.<\/p>\n
The implementation of investments has already begun. In the first phase, the current log sorter will be replaced with an X-ray line, and at the end of the year, the saw feed will also be renewed with the introduction of modern log profiling that utilizes camera technology.<\/p>\n
Above all, the investments will result in more efficient sawing through more optimized utilization of raw material. This will in turn lead to better quality end-product for the customers.<\/p>\n
